Terms of Sale
Effective July 21, 2026. These terms apply to quotes and orders placed with North & Cedar (Semple Labs LLC). We wrote them in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us before you order.
Ordering & payment
Every product is configured with you and built to order in Ontario, Canada by Dundalk LeisureCraft Inc. Your written quote lists the full configuration and total price, including delivery fees. Payment in full is due when you place your order. We confirm every configuration in writing before ordering; changes requested after your order enters production may not be possible, and orders cannot be modified once packaged.
Delivery & unloading
Orders ship by freight carrier, curbside to the end of your driveway, by appointment. Per the manufacturer's shipping terms, unloading the crate from the truck is the customer's responsibility. Crates 84 inches and under can use the truck's liftgate; longer crates require a forklift or equivalent equipment, a terminal pickup, or an adequate crew — we'll confirm your unloading plan before ordering. The following carrier charges, when incurred, are payable by the customer: residential drop-ship fee ($320 per sauna, cold plunge, or hot tub; $120 per outdoor shower — included in your quote); ship-to address changes after the order has left the factory ($350); carrier storage fees caused by delayed delivery scheduling ($35 per day); and optional tilt-deck truck delivery arranged as a last resort ($1,250).
No returns; shipping damage
Because every unit is built to order, all sales are final and returns are not accepted. If your crate arrives damaged: accept the delivery, photograph the damage, note "crate arrived damaged — possible hidden damage" on the carrier's Bill of Lading before signing, and contact us within 48 hours. Damaged components are replaced free of charge through the manufacturer, with replacement shipments prioritized.
Warranty
Products carry Dundalk LeisureCraft's 5-year limited residential warranty on materials and workmanship; heaters and chillers carry their manufacturers' warranties. Warranty claims can be made through us at support@northandcedar.com and we'll manage the process. Warranties cover replacement parts and exclude labor, installation, normal weathering, and damage from improper installation or maintenance.
Site preparation, permits & installation
You're responsible for a suitable level base, any required permits, and installation, including hiring a licensed electrician where an electric heater requires a dedicated circuit. We provide spec sheets and guidance, but local code compliance rests with the customer.
The legal paragraph
North & Cedar is an independent authorized dealer; the manufacturer is responsible for product manufacture and its warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product at issue. Nothing in these terms limits rights you hold under applicable consumer-protection law.
